„Lodzkie of Energy” regional brand refers to central economic functions of Lodzkie Region, associated with both thermal and electrical energy production and also with associated sectors.
Support in defining energy specialization of Lodzkie Region is an important role of the brand.
Regional energy sector is regarded as dominant and developmental. The investors notice the potential in cooperation in energy sector because of the local government’s endorsement for energy investments.
„Lodzkie of Energy” is being promoted and coordinated by Research and Innovation Centre „Pro-Akademia”, non-public research unit. Establishing the regional brand is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Developing Fund. The aim of the project is promotion of the regional brand and bonding it with the process of creating regional identity, innovation and competitiveness enhancement of the entrepreneurships in the region.
Project implementation consists in complex programme of territorial marketing involving organising two international Conferences in 2014 and 2015, drafting strategy, plans and visual identity of the regional brand together with promotional aspects such as TV advertisements, creating and managing website and organising billboard campaign.
The Conferences will be 3-day promotional events. 120 participants, including world renowned experts in the field of energy will take part in each event.
